“Awesome experience - Will come back again!”
June 4, 2016My wife and I booked Marcos for a sunset (2-hr) light tackle fishing trip and it was a trip that we will never forget. We are both avid fishermen although we had never fished for tarpon, but after a quick briefing of how to battle them we were off to the races. In two hours we each caught two tarpon over 40lbs, and Marcos was there the whole time helping us do whatever we could to get them to the boat. He was extremely professional, friendly, and makes you feel comfortable on his boat. After our arms were almost limp from fighting fish we were heading back to the dock with huge smiles, then my wife turned to me and asked me to find out if he was available later that week. We booked him again two days later and sure enough he put us right on the fish. This trip we each caught 3 tarpon around 45lbs, but my wife stole the show with a 90lb monster all in 2-hrs. We had an amazing time fishing with Marcos both nights and will definitely make a return trip to Fajardo just to fish with him again. I have fished with a multitude of fishing guides and would rank Marcos right at the top. He was extremely enjoyable to fish and just share stories with the entire time and we left feeling like we had made a friend. I would HIGHLY recommend fishing with him to anyone that is serious about enjoying some light tackle fishing.
